The Committee on the Judiciary did not convene for the 2023 Election but we look forward to convening for next year’s election.
The Capital District Women’s Bar Association’s Committee on the Judiciary is tasked with evaluating and rating candidates for judicial office throughout the Capital Region. The Committee’s articulated objective is elevating the quality of the judiciary by approving for election to judicial office only those individuals who have demonstrated excellence in judicial criteria, including integrity, experience, professional competence, independence, judgment, temperament and intellect. The Committee’s work is in furtherance of CDWBA’s Mission of promoting the fair and impartial administration of justice and educating the general public about the legal system.
