The Capital District Women’s Bar Association joins the nation in mourning the passing of the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsberg, aka “Notorious RBG,” a fierce advocate for gender equality, Justice Ginsberg was a trailblazer, a role model and icon. Justice Ginsberg, the second woman appointed to the United States Supreme Court changed the lives of millions as a lawyer and a jurist by dismantling barriers to education, employment and roles in society and families based strictly on gender.  Her legacy serves as inspiration to future generations of legal professionals.
